“Opportunity Knocks for Unemployed Youth: JKSSB Announces 26000 Vacancies Across Various Departments”
Great news for unemployed youths in Jammu and Kashmir as the government has announced the availability of 26,000 vacancies in different departments for this year. These vacancies cover different positions such as Gazetted, non-Gazetted, and Class-IV posts. Majority of the available positions fall under non-Gazetted and Class-IV cadres, while the remaining vacancies are for Gazetted Officers.
Various government departments have conducted a comprehensive exercise to identify the number of vacancies in different cadres, and the total figure has been estimated at 26,000. The government will now proceed with the clearance process, after which the Public Service Commission (PSC) and Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) will be responsible for recruiting eligible candidates for these positions.
The recruitment agencies will begin the process of filling up the vacancies only after receiving a detailed notification from the government. It’s worth noting that the number of available positions might slightly increase as some departments could revise their lists in the coming days.
The General Administration Department is expected to refer the available vacancies to the PSC and JKSSB by April 1st. These two recruitment agencies will then initiate the recruitment process, which will be completed within the same year.
This process may be repeated in the following years, with departments finalizing their lists of vacancies in March and forwarding them to the General Administration Department. The government will make every effort to fill the advertised vacancies within the same year, with timelines set for written tests and other selection procedures.
In case of any urgent requirements, emergency vacancies may be filled on an exception basis, but their number will be minimal. The filling up of over 26,000 vacancies in various government departments within a year is a significant development that will benefit unemployed youth across all cadres, including Gazetted, non-Gazetted, and Class-IV positions.
