Starting March 11th, 2023, the Department of Posts/Mail Motor Service will stop accepting applications from eligible Indian citizens for the Skilled Artisans in Motor Vehicle (Electrician & Mechanic) positions.

The age limit for the post is 18 to 30 years as of 01.07.2023. The age relaxation for the post is as per the official norm.

The applicants must have A Certificate in the respective trade from any Technical Institution recognized by the Govt. OR VIII Std. passed with experience of one year in the respective trade.

The salary for the post is Rs. 19,900/- (Level-2 in the pay Matrix as per 7th CPC).
India Post Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
Selection of Skilled Artisans shall be made from, amongst the candidates possessing the requisite qualifications and valid driving license [only for Motor Vehicle Mechanic] by means of a Competitive Trade Test.
How to Apply for India Post Recruitment 2023?
Interested candidates, aged between 18 and 30 as of 01.07.2023, who have completed the eighth grade and possess one year of experience in the relevant trade can apply.
To be considered for the position, candidates must participate in a competitive trade test and meet specific requirements, including possessing the necessary credentials and a current driver’s license (only for motor vehicle mechanics).
The chosen skilled artisans will receive a salary of Rs. 19,900/- (Level-2 in the pay matrix according to the 7th CPC).
