The Indian Air Force recently made an exciting announcement regarding the Agniveer Recruitment for the year 2023. This news is especially great for individuals who aspire to serve in the army. This recruitment is open to both unmarried men and women. The Agniveervayu exam is scheduled to take place on May 5, 2023.

Starting on March 17, 2023, the online application process for the examination will be available. Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications through the official website by March 31, 2023.
IAF Agniveer Recruitment 2023: Eligibility
For students who completed their 12th grade in the Science stream, it is mandatory to have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized board in order to be eligible for the exam. Students pursuing engineering diplomas must also have scored at least 50%. Additionally, those who completed a two-year vocational degree that included math and physics as non-vocational subjects must have scored a minimum of 50%.
For students who did not complete their 12th grade in the Science stream, a minimum score of 50% on the 12th grade exam is required. Additionally, a minimum of 50% marks in the English subject is also mandatory.
IAF Agniveer Recruitment 2023: Age limit
In order to be eligible for the exam, candidates must have been born between December 26, 2006, and June 26, 2006. This means that the maximum age limit for candidates is 21 years.
IAF Agniveer Recruitment 2023: Selection Procedure
Once candidates have applied, they will be required to take an online written examination on May 20, 2023, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. Following the online examination, successful candidates will be required to undergo a physical fitness test and a medical examination. Before submitting their application, candidates are advised to read the notification carefully.
If selected, Agniveers will be hired under the Agneepath program for a period of four years in the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy.
What perks Agniveer will get?
It is important to note that only 25% of Agniveers will receive permanent appointments after the completion of their four-year training. However, during their training period, Agniveers may be eligible for certain benefits such as access to the Indian Air Force and CSD canteen. Additionally, they will receive medical insurance worth Rs. 48 lakhs and 30 days of vacation each year. Sick leave will also be provided as an option.
