Provisional Selection List/Allocation of Cadres in respect of the posts kept reserved for Physically Challenged Candidates (Deaf & Hard of Hearing)- Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2020 dated 26.06.2020.
Whereas, the General Administration Department, vide No.GAD/Mtg/RB-IV/50/2020 dated 22.06.2020, forwarded the requisition for filling up 8575 Class-IV posts pertaining to various departments under direct recruitment, in accordance with the provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir
Appointment to Class IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020, notified vide S.0.184 of 2020 dated 04.06.2020; and
Whereas, the aforesaid Class-IV posts, belonging to various departments, were advertised by the Board vide Notification No. 01 of 2020 dated 26.06.2020 and the OMR based Objective Type Written Test Examination was held in three batches on 27th, 28th February and 1st March, 2021; and
Whereas, some Physically Challenged candidates, belonging to the
sub-category of Deaf & Hard of Hearing, approached the Hon’ble Central
Administrative Tribunal, Srinagar through the medium of O.A No. 1764/2021 titled
Peer Mohammad Arif Vs Social Welfare & Ors, with the prayer that the Board has
not applied Horizontal Reservation to the PwD candidates. The Horizontal
Reservation for these posts could not be applied initially for want of pending
clarification from the General Administration Department as the post of
Orderly/Class-IV was mentioned at two entries in the Government Order No.59 of
2021 dated 15.04.2021; and
Whereas, the Hon’ble CAT, while hearing the matter, passed the following interim directions:
